Steve Watt

Consulting Software Engineer, Office of Technology Red Hat

Steve Watt, Red Hat chief consulting engineer of Emerging Technologies, leads the persistent storage efforts for Linux® containers. Prior to Red Hat, Steve was a founder of the HP Hadoop Business and Hadoop chief technologist at HP. Prior to HP, he was a software architect and master inventor at IBM Emerging Technologies and a software engineer for a number of startups in the U.S. and his native South Africa.
