Daniel is the Technical Marketing Manager in the Storage and Big Data Ecosystem team at Red Hat. He is responsible for Red Hat's core storage products Ceph and Gluster and their wider integration into Reference Architectures, Performance & Sizing Guides and Partner Solutions. Previously he covered the Partner and Alliances business for OEM Partners in EMEA as a Senior Solution Architect. Before Red Hat Daniel worked in a regional PreSales role at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise in the Business Critical Systems Division with responsibility for the database and analytics appliance portfolio.

As a result Daniel has expertise in various database technologies, analytics and big data frameworks, data-center core infrastructure, Private and Public Cloud as well as Container Orchestration technologies including benchmarking and performance tuning.

Mike Barrett

OpenShift product manager, Red Hat

Mike Barrett, Red Hat OpenShift product manager, specializes in accelerating application platforms through the use of operating system and hardware technologies. He has 20 years experience working with datacenter architectures. Mike previously worked in both services and product management at Sun Microsystems and Oracle.
