Today, his primary focus is driving Ingredion’s innovation strategy in clean and simple ingredients, using proprietary research to ensure its alignment with consumer expectations.

Angelina De Castro is Senior Marketing Manager at Ingredion, where she is responsible for the Wholesome innovation initiative in North America. This platform includes functional clean label texturizers, multi-functional flours, non-GMO Project verified, and organic certified ingredients. Prior to this role, Angelina held the position of Marketing Manager for the Savory segment. She has also held a variety of positions in the Customer Solutions and Product Innovation group, where she was responsible for regional technical support for customers in North America. Angelina holds a master’s degree in food science and technology from Texas A&M University and a bachelor’s degree in food industry engineering from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM) in Mexico.
